"I wish I knew this when I was younger." We often say it when we realise the significance of something we took for granted or overlooked and that is an amazing part of our reality.

If only I had known simple things, like how water is far more than just a thirst quencher or something to bathe in, or how plants and trees communicate and share nutrients with each other. Knowing these simple facts when I was younger would have profoundly changed my appreciation of nature and deepened my self-awareness and connection to the natural world. One can only wonder. Ask yourself the question 'What if a four year old knew that by singing or saying nice things to a plant made its life better'?

Creativity can feel out of reach for many. It's common to think, "I can't do that," especially when we compare ourselves to amazing people or artists, musicians and writers who we put on a pedestal. This mindset can make us believe we lack potential, instead of encouraging us to find our unique creative spark. By appreciating and becoming aware of how creativity is within all of us and how it makes us feel, we can discover our greater potential.

The concept of freedom can also be elusive, shaped by things like peer pressure, financial constraints, health issues, or political and social challenges. One of the first freedoms that becomes threatened is creativity which takes a lot of strength to hold true.

In times of chaos or grief, everyone needs a safe place to retreat. It's important to remember that much of this turmoil is external and doesn't touch our true selves—our pure soul. While this is easy to say, it often takes a lifetime to truly understand and embrace ones potential.

Creativity is a natural part of our daily lives. It is not solely the realm of practising artists—far from it.
